City of Gahanna Needs Community Service Volunteers!

Full Description:

The City of Gahanna’s Service Department is seeking volunteers to distribute door hangers to single family homes throughout the city before summer’s end. The door hangers are to inform residents about recycling and refuse programs. High school students, scouting and environmental clubs, community and church groups, civic associations or anyone interested in improving Gahanna's recycling program are welcome. Door hangers may be placed on mailbox hooks or front doors. Groups or individuals may choose the neighborhood they wish to distribute in, based on availability. No area is too large or too small!! Liability insurance is required, and the city will provide a release form for individual students and residents. If you can help, please call Jean Bishop at 342-4005 or Kate Moening at 478-0961.
