Brenda Starr teaches anger management at two Groveport Madison elementary schools, and facing the kindergartners at Dunloe Elementary is a new challenge for her.
Using methods that range from discussions to stories, schools throughout central Ohio are teaching kids how to deal with anger realizing how important it is to help children control their feelings to avoid negative events in the future.
Mary Anne Albanese, anger management coordinator for Gahanna-Jefferson schools says that academics without character is not doing children any favor and that is what they are helping youngsters develop.
