Volunteers needed to present to military members and their families about available Red Cross services and programs
Why are volunteers needed?
Red Cross volunteers make brief presentations to military members and families; flexible schedules available.
Where?
Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS)
775 Taylor Road in Gahanna, about 10:45 AM daily.
Who is the audience?
New members of the military and their families. The presentations last only five minutes each with the intent to inform recruits about Red Cross Emergency Communications Services, including vital information dealing with births, deaths, serious illness or other family matters.
What is the time commitment? Who can volunteer?
Approximately 45 minutes. Anyone can volunteer but must provide own transportation. Groups/pairs welcome to present together.
